We have developed Engage Kimberley to engage citizens and help to develop stronger relationships between the City and community.

Why do I have to register?

Constructive dialogue and rigorous decision-making require accountability. The purpose of the City’s engagement efforts is to collect useful feedback from real people to support City priorities and discussions, and to keep you informed and engaged on projects that are important to you. Registration allows us to be sure that real people are behind the comments and ideas on the site and allows us to track where feedback is coming from.

What about my privacy?

Your privacy is important to us and is protected. Your contact details will be kept confidential and will only be used to update you about the project(s) you are interested in.

What is public engagement?

Public engagement is anything we do to involve citizens and other stakeholders in City initiatives and work. It is a way to let you know what we’re working on, gather your input, and get more people involved.

Is it really worth my time?

We know you have ideas and opinions, and we are committed to learning from them and incorporating them into our planning and decision-making. The more people who are informed, considering options, pondering trade-offs, and thinking about opportunities, the better our decisions will be. All opinions are read, heard and taken into account as decisions are being made.
